1-800-FLOWERS...Success!

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I've been working and doing school work..and blah blah blah. I'm on Spring Break right now and enjoying it to the hilt. My best friend, melanie is actually home right now just for a couple of days for a wedding. So we are going SHOPPING TODAY! YEAHHHH!!! Ha. Anyway. Work is going great! Actually its funny we have the same radio station on every time I work there. So I hear the same songs ...ALL THE TIME! AHH! So pretty much my theme song for this point in my life is definitely "Love Song" by Sara Bareilles.
Whenever I hear it I think of flowers, sweeping, cleaning, and standing around waiting for customers. haha.
Sweet.

till then.

peace.

Tis' Done.

I am soooo happy to report that I have obtained the job at 1-800-Flowers!!! WOOHOO!!! I cannot be more excited to have this as my job before I leave for college! It's going to be great! I just gave my notice into Wendy's yesterday. Was that a heartattack or what?! I had to give my notice to the most un-understanding bosses. Ha. First there was silence then she gave out the information that she has an account at 1-800-Flowers then insulted me. Well, I guess you can call that going well. Alteast next week is my last week! Get a couple more penny's out of "good ole" Wendy's. And some free food also! Shhh! Ha, anyway God has made this possible and I just want to honor Him. This has happened for a reason and I can't wait to see what's in store!!!
Hmm...the smell of flowers vs. oil.

I'll take it!!!

Thanks for all of your encouraging words.

FigureD it out.

So to those who are reading my blog, and especially the last post- I got my answer.
Although brought out of me in a rough-crying way, my friend talked some sense into me. Melanie got me on the phone and calmed me down and started with the basics. Apply to another job (1800 Flowers) if you get the job- great GO THERE! If not, talk to Wendys about your schedule. Simple right? YEAH! How'd I not see this before? God brings best friends into your life for a reason and I believe the reasons just keep growing and growing. Thanks Mel.

Thinking. Dilhema.

I guess there's a point for every person where things that were constant, have to change. As hard as it might be, you never know if it's exactly what you need to grow and change for the next step in your life. I believe as a Christian, there are many seasons in life. Some stay for maybe a month, or even up to a year or so. Right now I'm struggling with a decision about work. My schedule has been getting crazy and booked to the last second! And now with college in the near four months, I'm actually starting to freak out a little. With my crazy schedule which always happens in the Spring/Summer I've had to take more and more days off of work. Almost every weekend which is the biggest need for people. (I work at Wendys). They've been getting mad at the days taken off and asking why!? Ha. Well, I'm busy I'd reply in a jokingly matter while looking at their angered face. At this point, I'm thinking about quitting. I was sure I was quitting atleast by the end of May. I guess things change. So, do I quit? With college approaching I need the money but can't even give them hours or days to put me down for. This goes for any (teenage) job you can find out there. So I decided to talk to my parents. Hmm...do you think, mom, that I can get an allowance? PLEASE!
So, stay tuned. This is a hard step to take, but I know with my parents and friends help, I can take it. With both feet on the next step, not just one..but both!
Please Pray!

Introducing: My Best Friend. My Big Sister.

Hey!
This video below is of Melanie Carmon. She goes to Christ for the Nations in Dallas, TX where I'm about to attend. She has been my best friend for more than a year now. She has brought me through the hardest times of my life when I was sick. She encouraged me like no one else had. Also, she has led me to CFNI which was undoubtedly a work of God to have us become so close. She has become my big sister. I could not be more proud of her in going to school, singing, ultimately going out of her comfort zone and letting God do His will upon her life. He has matured her so much and it's already been a year. I can't wait to see what He has in store for her in the future. Give it a listen. Leave a comment.

ACCEPTANCE!

Hey everyone!!!!
So today was the day of not only me being totally exhausted and sick, but the day I got accepted to Christ for the Nations! I am officially going and could not be happier! I am on the right path to God's plan and it's a go! Now, I just have to finish High School. Man, what a drag that's going to be! Ha. Well, I'm sure my parents want to slow down time though. That's their job. They do it very well and I'm proud to say how much I've learned from them in so many aspects of life. Thank You. And thank you to all of my friends and extended family so saw me through the process of selecting a school my parents and I agreed on. Oh and my guidance counslor. Since CFNI isn't accredited, it was obviously a work of God that had them all agree on me going there! My dad actually just said to me the other day, "You know, I'm really happy and excited for you to go to CFNI. You're going to really grow there." That meant soooooo much to me since he was the one that really really opposed me going there. God really has blessed this decision and I can't wait to go!!!
Amen!
